TECHNICAL & QUALITY ASSISTANT

We’re recruiting a talented Technical & Quality Assistant to join our brilliant team to help support the business going forward. Reporting to the Head of Operations & Technical, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy and quality assurance of Clive’s products; being the vital link between consumer experience and production standards.

You will support the Head of Operations & Technical to ensure the team understand and adhere to all site and food safety policies and procedures. Helping to develop and implement company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient working environment whilst producing a safe and quality product. You will take lead responsibility for putting appropriate controls and checks in place, delivering internal audits and verification to ensure we deliver the highest standard of food safety.

SALARY:               £25K – £35K D.O.E

TERMS:                  FULL TIME (40 HOURS) – MONDAY TO FRIDAY

LOCATION:           THE BAKERY, NELSON ROAD, DARTMOUTH, TQ6 9LA

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience and/or relevant qualifications in food technical and safety management. Experience in FMCG and high risk food production is desirable.
  • Auditor training or experience.
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Award and Level 3 HACCP.
  • Management or supervisory experience gained in a fast-paced production environment is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of BRC standard is highly desirable.
