We’re on the lookout for a very special person to join our team and help keep everything moving at our bustling Bakery in Dartmouth. As Production and Warehouse Operative you’ll be carrying out a range of duties including taking deliveries, inspecting inventory, checking for damaged goods, and generally keeping an eye on all goods in and out of The Bakery. You’ll also provide kitchen support during busy periods.
This role is best suited to a conscientious individual, who’s good with numbers and able to multitask. You’ll enjoy a varied workday with flexibility to plan your day, taking initiative to support your colleagues where needed most. Being self-motivated with a can-do attitude is essential.
No experience is necessary as full training will be provided but do let us know if you have a forklift licence as that would certainly be a plus for us! This is a great opportunity to work for an exciting food brand that is supported by a fantastic team of talented and friendly people.
HOURS – Monday – Friday 08.00-finish (18.00 ish) YIPPEE, no split shifts!

Hello, we’re Clive’s. A certified organic, vegan bakery making scrumptious pies, tarts, quiches, and roasts from the heart of the Devon countryside. We’ve been making our delicious parcels of plant-based joy for over 30 years, leading the way when it comes to innovating pie products. Call us pie-oneers if you will!
It all started back in the 1970’s when a Devonshire man called Clive had a moment of spiritual enlightenment. Vouching to do right by all living creatures, he dedicated himself to making amazing veggie pies packed full of plants. From what started as just one pie being sold off the back of a bicycle, we now make and sell a generous range of bakes in shops and supermarkets up and down the country, and even sell internationally. We also recently moved to a shiny new bakery, that’s much bigger, so we can meet the growing demand for our food.
Clive has long since retired, but his original ethos and can-do attitude lives on in all of us. We believe in the positivity of plant-based easting and the benefits it brings to planet welfare. Our vision is for healthier and happier people and planet – a vision that inspires us to make our food the way that we do. By sourcing ingredients from like-minded suppliers, who care just as much about the planet as we do. Creating delicious recipes and flavour combinations, that push the boundaries of traditional plant-based eating, and by always putting the planet first, choosing 100% recyclable, plastic-free packaging for all our products.

WHERE WE WORK
In 2020, after 30 years of baking from an old woollen mill in Buckfastleigh, we relocated to a new, larger home in Dartmouth. Following a total refit, we moved into ‘The Bakery’ where all the pie-making magic now happens, which is nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside and surrounded by rolling hills. We’ve even got a spectacular view of the stunning River Dart, which is right on our doorstep.
